The history of the factory itself and the watches it produces, in fact, is much longer and has its roots in the USA and Switzerland.
The Chelyabinsk Watch Factory, which appeared in 1947 in the Southern Urals, was created on the basis of the Dueber-Hampden Watch Company (1877), bought "turnkey" by Stalin's decision in 1929 in the United States.
