This wheel-thrown yunomi was made in my small pottery workshop here in Taiwan. My workshop overlooks the Yamingshan mountain which is a constant source of inspiration.
This pot was made from Japanese porcelain clay and then a crackle white glaze was applied.
While still wet I added more porcelain to the bowl by applying it in a way that created interest. I believe handmade pot should see evidence of the hand involved.
My seal is stamped at the base of this chawan.
Be the owner of a handmade tea bowl made from the beautiful island of Taiwan.
