We made this hat from two layers of waxed leather. "Facial" layer - cowhide, inner layer - thinner goathide.
Between these two layers we sewed a thin edge of sand color from a goathide. The edge is sewn with a thick cotton thread.
Brooch made of cast plastic we sewed to the crown. The feathers have their own point of attachment on the crown, which allows them to be removed during transportation.
For a more comfortable wearing, we made a lining.
