When making shoes, I don't know what the shoes are like in the first place, it seems that they need high skills, and it seems difficult.
The Roper project is a six year development project aimed at producing healthy and sustainable shoes.

After deciding the shoes of your favorite design and preparing the fabric and shoelace, print the file of your own size without reducing or enlarging it.

Cut along the line with a cutter or scissors.

Make holes in the cut pattern.

Mark the back of the material to be used with a pen according to the pattern.

After drawing all the shoes on the left, turn over and draw the shoes on the right.
There are right and left shoe patterns.
Mark the pattern on the inside of the foot and be careful not to mistake the right pattern and the left pattern!

Cut along the line and mark with a knife or sharp scissors and make a hole.

After cutting all the patterns, temporarily fix each part on the right and left with masking tape.

Pass the needle through each end of the attached thread.
Insert the needle into position A and thread until both threads are the same length.

Sewing to the point D with the needle 1.

I will finally sew the upper and sole. The needles at both ends are sewn alternately by saddle stitching.

This time I used synthetic leather brown, but just by changing the material, the atmosphere changes so much. It's fun to make an original design based on a pattern.
