▲喀什米尔靠近喜马拉雅山，为了对抗特殊的酷寒气候，水煮羊毛是喀什米尔利用当地自然环境发展出来的一种细致的工艺， 当地海拔高，水的沸点低，早晨在太阳上升时，将羊毛制品，放入融化的高原雪水中浸泡，之后加热沸煮。到了傍晚太阳下山时，再把羊毛制品在月光下晒，经由繁复工续后的产品， 不但可以清除掉一些杂质，羊毛产生收缩，纤维之间更加地紧密，最后经由妇女手工编织及刺绣，呈现一件件颜色及绣法独特的织品

( 因每个人测量方式及位置略有不同尺寸皆为水平手工测量，会因布料弹性、测量起点等因素，与实际尺寸略有误差，误差尺寸±3cm为国际验货标准可接受范围 )
▲建议清洁方式
1 - 用胶盆放入适量洗衣粉，以微暖清水调校均匀，把围巾平放水盆中，双手张开用力按压二、三十下，让洗粉溶液来回穿过围巾纤维缝隙，这样纤维才不会互相缠结。
2 - 过水清洗均用同样手法直至围巾洁净。
3 - 将围巾揉干。 晾围巾时，平铺于毛巾或晾衣架，至于阴凉处自然阴干，因为紫外线会使毛线发黄。
