Babies do not see colors in the first months. They only see black and white and shades of gray. Therefore, it is important to show him toys with high contrast. Until your baby is six months old, they will respond best to bold, contrasting colors and graphics. These high-contrast colors will grab and hold your child's attention, stimulating their visual development as well as physical activity such as wiggling, kicking and waving their arms.
Also, black and white toys are important for children and adults with visual impairments.
