The knitting manual is suitable for those who already have knitting experience and can complete the work according to the manual by themselves.
The Fern sweater is all about details: the construction, the lace, the cabled rib, the sleeves. The top portion is worked sideways, creating the boatneck and the easy-to-memorize leafy lace pattern across the upper chest. Then stitches are picked up for the circumference of the body which is worked down to the hips. Both the sleeves and the body are finished off with a braided rib pattern.
