The description is based on my knowledge of embroidery, and it may differ from traditional methods. I will show you how to embroider wings, how to process edges, and how to assemble a butterfly. If you have not used such technique before, you may have to practice a little. Parts are very small; it requires a lot of patience and diligence. I describe the whole process step-by-step, explaining it with a large number of photos. I’ve added a video where I show all the difficult moments in detail. The links to the video are in the PDF file. The right side of the butterfly is embroidered with mouline thread. All the wings keep their shape well thanks to the wire frame. It allows the butterfly to take any of its natural forms. The wrong side is decorated with delicate lace. Brooch is very light and elegant.
