Some collection, we try to develop by mixing with dyeing technique to show the traditional weave. We use Thai fruit that create black tint which is called Ma-krew in Thai. The different process of dyeing creates different shade from grey to black. Cotton is rarely found in other province of Thailand because it has more complicate process to produce than synthetic. Cotton usually use in kitchen and dining area since it is durable and strong and easy to maintain. All process has been carefully done by hand which can be noticed from the uneven texture. However, it shows the unique and quality of Thai craftsmanship transforming ordinary plants into stylish placemats.
