FRIESIAN MERMAID NAUTICAL DUTCH VINTAGE ANTIQUE WARMINK WUBA WALL CLOCK

This is a beautiful Dutch antique vintage Friesian wall clock. This clock is called a Mermaid clock, as you can see there are mermaids on each side of the clock. These clocks were made in Frisia as this region in the Netherlands has a historic connection with the sea. The traditional Dutch clock chimes on the half and full hour (chimes beautifully). A hammer is beating on a drum. It’s weight driven by two brass weights. This clock is made in the 1960s. As you can see on the photos, this clock is made by the best materials.
