For over 100 years, the Seto region has been producing blue and white porcelain known as Seto Sometsuke.
The rich indigo color is achieved by applying a blue pigment, known as Gosu, onto white porcelain prior to firing.
Using a traditional brush technique to express a variety of shades, master craftsmen create this camouflage pattern.
