This one-of-a-kind piece is hand-sewn from vintage KIMONO fabric. This simple HAORI, a Japanese jacket, is made of a combination of square fabrics. The neckline is simplified and slightly shorter KIMONO sleeves are attached. It is an eccentric silk fabric with various patterns in the colors of brown to dark red. It uses an exotic pattern inspired by SHOSOIN (正倉院), a storehouse at TODAIJI Temple in Nara, built in the middle of the 8th century to preserve the temple's treasures. [About care] We mainly use vintage kimono fabrics: vintage stocked fabric or fabric disassembled from KIMONOs. Most of them are made of delicate materials prone to color fading, color migration, and shrinkage. Dry cleaning is generally recommended for care. (Please use your judgment when washing at home. ) We recommend trying to wash the scraps we provide with the product once before washing.
