VOLNA-9 is a normal angle (standard) multi-coated (MC) lens for Zenit, Chinon and other SLR cameras with M42 screw lens mount. The lens marked as "MACRO" because it was constructed as genuine macro lens to provide high image quality for close-up shootings. For example, popular Soviet "Industar-61 LZ" lens also allows to receive close-up images, but it was not initially constructed for macro shootings. It can be used with a lot of digital Micro 4/3 cameras with the adapter. In the main, most all Soviet lenses are exceptionally good and this one is no exception! ITEM'S CONDITION: EXCELLENT+++++ The glass is very clean, without scratches, separations or fungus. Aperture blades open and close smoothly, focusing is smooth too. Cosmetically lens looks in almost fine condition, like very accurately used before, just examine item's photos please. All functions are available. * Focus: 50 mm (52.19mm exactly). * Angle of view: 45 degrees. * Relative aperture: 1:2.8. * Aperture: from 2.8 up to 16 (without clicks or with the special "memory"). The aperture ring allows to "remember" pre-installed aperture's meaning. This function is activated with the single aperture ring, You just have to press it and the aperture will fixed. * Focusing: from 0.24m up to infinity. * Special scale indicates macro ratio from 1:2 up to 1:3. * Mounting: M42x1mm (known also as Pentax Screw Mount), same with huge quantity of lenses for old Practica, Pentax, Yashica, Cosina and other cameras with optical registration 45.5mm. * Mounting for modern SLR & dSLR cameras will not bring any trouble with well-spread M42 adapters. * The lens is well-applicable for digital cameras with micro 4/3 system and other with working distance 28.8mm and are less, with the use of adapters: All Sony NEX, Olympus, Panasonic: Lumix DMC-G1, DMC-GH1, DMC-GF1, DMC-G2, DMC-G10, Epson, Samsung and other. * Resolution: (in pair of lines per mm) is not less than 42 in the center and 30 on the edge of frame. * Filter mount: M 52 x 0.75 mm. * Compact and light. * The lens was made in 1987 at Litkarino plant of optical glass near the Moscow city.
