A set of three plaid noren curtains. The material is hemp for black and silk called oksa for brown. The fabrics of noren.sin are purchased directly from the Ganjang Market in Seoul, South Korea. Oxa is more transparent than hemp. Oksa is a precious silk fabric woven from slightly twisted threads (Tamasa ) taken from two or more silkworms that cocoon at the same time. If you look closely, you can see the balls on the cloth, so it is called Tama = Oku and Sha = Sha.
Since they are not connected one by one, you can hang them with some gaps between them, or you can hang them one by one. The colors are also black and brown, so you can block out some light. Both hemp and oksa have firmness and wrinkle resistance. If you are concerned about dirt, please wash your hands gently with a dry detergent. When it is semi-dry, iron it (low to medium temperature) to smooth out the wrinkles. Even after it's completely dry, you can moisten it with a steam iron or mist it and then iron it for a clean finish.
