This hair jewelry has not been cast from a mold but has a thin coat of copper over an original object from nature, making each piece unique. Just as in nature there will be flaws. Every piece is hammered by hand, sanded and fitted and heat treated (yes you have to heat treat copper), so it's a unique artisan object that isn't mass produce. It is a very durable, sturdy and practical french fork hair pin that will hold a chignon like nothing else. It takes a bit of learning to do it properly but once you get the hang of it, you will wear it quite often.
