The tendency of traditional design is to put some cuts in the frame of a rather square grid.
Before making this design, I made some wine glasses with traditional designs, so the direction of the design is to make it composed of flowing lines, which is different from other works. I wanted to make something that I could feel the taste of.
Intuitive, artistic, and feminine designs have a kiriko feel, and we aimed to create a design that gives you a sense of originality.
Summary,
・ Use a lot of curves that have different tastes from other works
・ Intuitive, artistic and feminine design
・ There is a feeling of Kiriko
・ There is originality
I'm starting to think about something that meets these four requirements.
The first thing I thought about was the big buds.
By shifting the apex of the curve from the center to the bottom, the cut is adjusted so that the tip is sharp and the bottom is rough.
I thought that it was important to cut the outer frame of the buds by adjusting the thickness of the line, so the thickness and depth of the cut at the end point is considerable, and I think that it also leads to a good touch. increase.
I was thinking about the design intuitively while running the pen freely on the paper, but I think that the design inside the buds is quite original.
It became an image that the core of the plant in the bud is firmly present.
The round part is transparent, and the core part that extends upward is frosted and finished in a glass shape by erasing.
By adding one point of erasing processing, the elegance comes out in the glass, so we have adopted it.
The design is like a traditional pattern of Yarai, which consists only of thin curves between the buds.
When I wondered what the Kiriko-ness was, I thought that it was a return to the origin, or a state where lines like this Yarai were folded.
The arrangement of this curve is also designed by intuitively adjusting what was written on paper.
The traditional pattern of chrysanthemums is cut at the top of the thin curve as one point.
Personally, I think that the chrysanthemum connection is used as a design that looks beautiful to use at one point like this.
The chrysanthemum tie is the most difficult level of traditional pattern cuts and also shows the high grade.
It is an auspicious pattern that includes good meanings such as longevity, disease-free breathing, nobility, and integrity.
All the cuts are made up of curved lines, which gives the impression of being rounded and soft when viewed from the side, but in contrast, we have created a work in which a quadrangle appears when viewed from above.
You can't make this kind of work unless you are familiar with the shape of the glass and how the cut looks.
Intuitive, artistic and feminine designs aim for high-grade designs.
It is a very masterpiece design with originality that is quite different from other products.
We would appreciate it if you could consider it for yourself, as a gift, or to improve the brand image of the store.
