The flowers of the wreath are peony, lotus, chrysanthemum, and plum. In China, the flowers are called “seasonal flowers” that represent spring, summer, autumn and winter respectively. The “Shiki Heian” figure, which has these flowers in a vase, is often seen as an auspicious figure.
