Wisteria flower hairpins are typically large and worn for celebratory occasions. However, we designed and created this piece with the desire for something that could be easily worn for casual outings or relaxed parties.
The wisteria tree is known for its long life and robust nature. The sound of "fuji" (wisteria) in Japanese can evoke the word "fushi" (immortality), making it an auspicious plant believed to ward off evil.
This piece also uses glass components to gather and reflect light, creating a dazzling sparkle.
By layering them generously, it emanates a brilliance as if kissed by morning dew.
Therefore, when not in use, we recommend displaying it as a single bloom in a vase by a window.
This work, "Shungyo" (Spring Dawn), expresses wisteria flowers during the time just before dawn when the dim sky gradually brightens.
"Shungyo" is also famously depicted in a Chinese poem by Meng Haoran.
You've likely heard the poem that begins with "Spring sleep, unaware of dawn..."
"In spring, I sleep soundly through the dawn.
Birds chirp all around.
Thinking back, last night there was terrible wind and rain.
I wonder how many flowers have fallen..."

■ Materials and Appearance
Each petal is crafted from glass to create an elegant sparkle that captures attention, even in its petite size. Thus, its appearance changes depending on how light hits it, allowing you to enjoy various expressions throughout the day.

■ Size
The wisteria flower part measures approximately 8-9cm. It is said that people are naturally drawn to moving objects, making this ideal for dates.
You can choose between two types of hairpin shafts: a single shaft (approx. 11.8cm) or a double shaft (approx. 10.5cm). *The double shaft incurs an additional charge of ¥100.
Please select based on your hair volume.
* For those with metal allergies, please choose the acrylic single shaft.
* It is also possible to have this made as a strap instead of a hairpin.
■ Shipping
We will ship within 5 days after payment confirmation (excluding weekends and holidays).
It will be delivered via International e-Packet, which includes tracking and insurance up to ¥6,000.

■ Returns and Exchanges
If you receive a different product than ordered, or if the product is defective, please contact us within 5 days of arrival. We will arrange for a refund or exchange.
