As it is the 5th flute champagne glass, I decided to create a variation of the atmosphere that other designs do not have.
I decided to make a cute design because it was a design using polka dots, so I started to prototype the design.
As a prototype,
・ A design that divides the whole into four and arranges polka dots in a spiral shape with Y = X.
・ Design to divide the whole into 3 parts and arrange the polka dots in a spiral shape with Y = 1 / 2X.
・ A design that divides the whole into three and arranges polka dots in a spiral shape with the square of Y = X.
I tried various prototypes.
However, I thought that the balance between the transparent part and the part where the color remained was not beautiful, so I finally arrived at this even arrangement.
The initial concept was the Fibonacci sequence, which is a mysterious sequence in nature, but I was thinking of using it as the basic design for the helical structure of DNA.
However, as mentioned above, it seemed that the color and the transparent part were not well harmonized.
I wanted to have a strong originality, but in the end I felt that it was the most beautiful to arrange them evenly.
I think it's a pretty feeling that other works don't have.
The use of polka dots also means the carbonic acid bubbles of sparkling wine.
I thought it was a perfect design for a flute champagne glass.

The Kiriko of our workshop is polished using the traditional method of Edo Kiriko, "hand polishing", which maintains the strength of the glass and finishes it with high quality.
On the other hand, there are some things in the world that polish the glass while immersing it in an acid called "acid polishing" and melting the entire glass into pieces.
Acid-polished ones have the disadvantages of being easily scratched and the color may fade, but since the man-hours can be reduced and the price can be sold at a low price, sales will improve, so many workshops and writers perform acid-polishing. We are here.
Since the cut surface of our workshop is polished one by one, the original strength of the glass is not lost, and you can wash it with a detergent or scrubbing brush.
Please note that boiling water, microwave ovens and dishwashers cannot be used like any other glassware.
