wAndon is a pyramidal lampshade kit made of the famous Ozu Washi paper from Ehime Prefecture.
Ozu washi is a handmade paper that is highly regarded as a craft paper for shoji paper, calligraphy paper, tableware paper, prints, and colored paper.
This kit is designed to make Ozu Washi more accessible to the user.
It comes in three parts with instructions for easy assembly, and a movie of the assembly can be viewed by accessing the QR code.
Place a flickering LED candle or other light source inside and enjoy the gentle glow of the lantern.

The washi can be used as a gift for Father's Day, Mother's Day, Respect for the Aged Day, etc., or as a kit for making crafts with children in elementary schools and kindergartens.
The set consists of two sheets of washi, one of your choice and one of plain white washi. Please choose the color of your favorite washi by using the numbers (1) to (8).
The white plain washi can be used as a gift with your child's message or drawing on it, or for writing calligraphy, or whatever you like.
If you want to write a picture or a message on it, we recommend using a crayon or a craypas, as shown in the fourth picture. If you write with markers, there is a risk that the washi will become tattered.
The resin parts are made of PLA (polylactic acid), an environmentally friendly material that can be decomposed by microorganisms such as compost.
