★ MATERIALS AND TOOLS :
- Yarn:
We need Kid Mohair, for example: Alize, YarnArt, Gazzal… (mohair/polyamide, 50g ~ 500m), black color. And also black floss. We will crochet a kitten in 2 threads - 1 mohair thread + 1 floss thread.
You will also need some black floss to embroider the nose, and pink to embroider the cheeks.
- Hook №1 (1mm)
- Head joint: cotter pin 2х20mm – 1pc, disks 12mm – 2pcs, washers – 2pcs
- Wire, 0.6mm thick. For the tail 1pc 36cm long.
- Fiberfill (to stuff)
- Glue eyes (3mm)
- Nose: you can use a ready-made oval nose (size 6x2mm), or embroider it (you will need black floss thread)
- Some green felting wool and 1 star felting needle №38 (felt parts near eyes) or green felt to make an applique*
- A piece of plastic or cardboard for the bottom, as well as a few beads or stones to weight the body.
- A piece of Velcro to brush the toy, and a felting needle (for example, star felting needle №38) to correct and lay the fur
- Adhesive tape, needle, safety pins, scissors, glue (Moment Crystal), hot glue, thin stick (for the convenience of stuffing small parts).
