A server spoon made by carefully carving a chestnut tree. Since it is a large size, it can also be used as a wooden spatula or a dish. It is painted with flaxseed oil and walnut oil.
The scooping surface is large, and the handle has a saw-shaped pattern.
Since chestnut trees have thick wooden conduits (tubes that suck up water), dried chestnut trees contain a lot of air. Therefore, it feels warm to the touch. Also, there is a large difference in texture between the parts of the annual rings grown in summer and the parts grown in winter, so it is interesting to see the wave pattern clearly when digging with a round chisel.
