Tall vase

This tall vase was wheel thrown from my small rooftop studio where I am now writing this description. I look out at the Yamingshan mountains and draw in a breath. This vase was made from local Taiwanese clay and then an original glaze was applied. All my glazes are food-safe. My seal is stamped on the side near the trimmed foot ring. I make pottery to hopefully add pleasure to someone's daily life. That is the feeling that motivates me to create functional items out of clay.
