Vegetable Crayon standard is a crayon made from rice and vegetables. We use the outer leaves of vegetables that are discarded during harvesting as raw materials. Pigments that supplement the color of vegetables are the same ingredients used to color foods.
Rice oil and rice wax, which are a main ingredients of "Vegetable Crayon", are made from "rice bran" from the milling process of brown rice. In Japan, which relies on imports for most of its oil and fat raw materials, "rice bran" is a valuable domestic oil and fat raw material. The only product in the world that uses this "rice oil" as the raw material for crayons is the "Vegetable Crayon" series (*) . Because it uses "rice oil", it is safe for children to put it in their mouths, and it does not smell the oily crayon peculiar to crayon.
