The beads with a dull golden sheen and the charms next to the ancient agate are old Orissa brass, antique brass beads from the Orissa state of India. These are exceptionally rare metal beads.
The charm on the clasp is antique Indian silver, crafted between the 19th and early 20th centuries.

The central motif depicts the deity Shiva (also known as Bel).
