Mosaic hair barrette, wood hairpin or barrete for thick long wavy or curly hair

We made this hairpin from birch. We carved this barrete by hand using woodcarving chisels. The hairpin itself was tinted brown stain and different paints. An environmentally friendly shellac coating was used as a finishing layer. Shellac as wood finish is natural and non-toxic in its pure form. A finish made of shellac is UV-resistant. !!!!Attention!
