Its internal structure is similar to that of natural opal, in which silica particles are regularly arranged, so it exhibits the same play-of-color effect as natural opal.

◇Points to note when purchasing
This product is handcrafted from raw stones one by one.
Therefore, the play-of-color effect is different for each product.
Please understand that it is not the same play-of-color effect as the product image.
◇Precautions for handling
§ Hybrid opal is made from resin and silica, which is the main component of natural opal. Resin is weak against high heat, so please avoid heat above 70°C such as saunas and hot water.
§ Treat it gently as you would treat a plastic product.
§ If the shine of the surface has faded, wipe it gently with a dry cloth coated with a commercially available resin abrasive.
