The artist makes wooden acorn by arranged Japanese traditional wood lathe techniques. Using natural colors of woods, we make unique acorns. The artist makes each of them by checking its texture and characteristics, one by one. Ebony, mysterious jet-black color unlike other wood, is combined with rare material, Jindai ash. This is one of our representative acorns. Jindai: Lignitized. It is the precious wood that was buried in long time in the earth or water. We sell this item in a LIMITED QUANTITY, because of such a rare material.
